Emily Tan writes: I never thought I'd use "yummy" and "foot scrub" in the same sentence but there's a first time for everything. Product Body, a line of hand-made body products that are paraben-free, all-natural, vegetarian and vegan friendly have come up with foot scrubs scented in Ruby Red Grapefruit and Cookie (mmm... Cooookieeeee!). And doesn't the description sound luscious?
"feels like a fluffy sugar-packed cake batter but washes off cleanly. Packed with pure sugar to exfoliate dry skin and a blend of organic coconut oil and shea butter to moisturize and recondition your dry, aching feet"
Mmm... get yours now for sweet, soft cookie-scented feet - $22 gets you an 8oz jar.

This week, I've been trying out a coconut cleanser by organic skincare brand Essential Care.
I spotted this tasty-looking, organic and vegan cleanser over on Edible Beauty, and having been on the lookout for a mild yet effective cleanser for most of my adult life, decided I'd give it a try. As luck would have it, the test coincided with a particularly dry patch for my skin (which is itself liberally covered in dry patches.) Often, I'll refuse to try a new product at these times for fear of an itchy flareup, but the bottle promised that this cleanser is suitable for 'dry and sensitive skin', and the brand is known for its natural Eczema remedies. So I bit the bullet and slapped it on.
Read on for my verdict!

If someone had told me even a year ago that you'd soon be able to find 100% certified organic shimmering bust oil on the beauty counter I'd probably have laughed. But Florame has cornered this particular gap in the market with a product that promises to 'tighten and regenerate the skin, creating a more youthful look to the décolleté'.
So, if you feel that boob-firming oil would make your beauty regime complete, Florame's is probably a good one to go for: it's not tested on animals, 95% organic, suitable for use by vegetarians and all packaging used is recyclable. £22,99 at Florame.
Now, much as I like to ensure that the products I put on my skin are as natural and non-toxic as possible, I have to admit to quite liking some artificial and super synthetic smells! Perhaps it's to do with growing up in the 80s kid culture of scratch 'n' sniff stickers and scented pencils that did it, but for whatever reason, I'm quite partial to a full-on, perfumey whiff.
And that's partly why I'm a fan of Kazam natural beauty products. They're natural as freshly cut grass and a real treat for the skin, but they smell sweet as candy and are nothing like the murky 'natural' products that many have come to expect. All the products are free of potentially harmful preservatives, aluminium or petrolium. They are also non-comedogenic (meaning they don't clog pores) so ideal for a light moisture base on hot days.
If you're a fan of Method's natural cleaning products, sustainable packaging and all round good attitude, then you'll be pleased to hear that the San Francisco-based brand has just launched a range of body care products based around the same principles.
The new body care line (most of which is currently only available in the states) consists of body wash, a body bar and hand wash. Just like the home cleaning range, the products come in packaging that's as stylish as it is sustainable, and about as recyclable as plastic gets. One blogger who's tried the range was especially keen on the body wash, saying it was 'rich and luxurious with a wonderful lather leaving the skin with a nice moisturized feeling.' We'll keep you posted on when the products land in the UK, but for now you'll find them in Target Stores.

I'm still amazed by the explosion of natural, cruelty free and vegan products that has happened in the past few months. Only a year ago, such products were in short supply, and what you could find was very expensive.
It's brands like Kitten Vixen that show that times are a-changing. I've been testing their fab new lipgloss range, which is cruelty free, vegan, paraben and petroleum free.
