There are plenty of wallets constructed from recyclable materials out there, and in some cases they've become quite the cult fashion accessory.
With such modern styling, however, there aren't many ethically-produced wallets rocking the old-fashioned leather look many folk associate with the item.
My Old Wallet has solved that aesthetic anomaly with this version of its popular Mighty Wallet (above, click image to enlarge). While you can still go for the kitsch comic book design, or the Air Mail version which allows you to appear well-travelled, this rugged design is perhaps more suited to the debonair (but environmentally conscious) gentleman.
Like all Mighty Wallets it's still made from 25% recycled materials, and can itself be recycled after you've spent all your money and maxed out your cards.
And if you're a doubter of Mighty Wallet's capabilities, click through to see a video demonstration of its sturdiness.

I've come to the conclusion that there must be something a bit special about Bulldog natural skincare products. Before now, I never really believed men could get excited about shower gel or moisturiser, but since I started giving Bulldog stuff away as presents, I've found out my assumption was completely wrong: every guy I've met who's tried this stuff comes back clamoring for more! It's no wonder the range is growing.

While browsing the fabulous new eco-boutique Green Union, I spotted pretty set of vintage chinaware candles. I've seen similar items elsewhere, but what's so lovely about these ones is the fact that the candles are cast in delicate bone china, which makes for a cosy glow as the candle melts down.

Here's a fun little addition to your eco-home, with a bit of a double-sided message. Seen from one angle, the all-natural, coconut husk mat gives a warm greeting; from another, it's less friendly. A great housewarming gift for anyone with a sense of humour and of responsibility for the planet.

Tearcraft is getting loads of new goodies in for its pre Christmas season. I could happily buy all my friends' presents here, and these cute fridge magnets particularly caught my eye as I was having a browse earlier today.
£5.00 for a set of three, the magnets are made in Sri Lanka on a young people's back-to-work project.

I've raved about Skinny Skinny's bath salts before -- a real treat if you like products so natural you could almost have made them yourself, if you had the time and inclination to do so!
Since then, I've also had the chance to try their soaps, which are also a fantastic, eco-friendly treat for the senses...

Keeping tea warm is a serious eco consideration: just think of all that water that you'd otherwise have to re-boil in order to give all your friends a cuppa.
That's why it's a good idea to have a good, insulating tea cosy close at hand, and if you don't want to make your own there are plenty of great looking cosies out there to choose from. This appliquéd 'chicken' cosy from Tearcraft would make a great gift and is made by fairtrade organisation Asha Handicrafts in India (Asha meaning 'hope'). £8.50 at Tearcraft
