I'm quite the hopeless case when it comes to purchasing gifts for others, so I resort to giving vouchers. Slightly lacking in personal-ness perhaps (not to mention lazy) but I think my gift-giving incompotency has directed me to something interesting for my more eco-oriented handful of friends - Giv'Organic. It's an ethical company offering green experiences nationwide as well as vouchers that are redeemable at 12 eco stores, meaning anything from oils and flower essences to contemporary couture.
But the giftable experiences on the website are what really caught my eye, mainly because I wouldn't mind indulging in a few of these eco-friendly goings-on myself. A day visit to Nature's World in Middlesborough or family trip to Coventry's Ryton Gardens for £11 sounds fairly bracing, Or if you don't mind loosening the purse strings some, you can bestow the gift of a romantic break in the Welsh mountains with holistic therapies for £377 or several Reiki sessions designed to channel spiritual energy and enrich your wellbeing.
So, if like me, the responses to your 'gift' choices are mediocre at best, check out Giv'Organic. It is just one of many eco gift companies of course. For the most part, I'm glad for it giving me a heads-up on ethical experiences as a dandy gift for sure! (I'm eyeing up Norfolk's Fairhaven Entrance for anyone feeling particularly benevolent.)
