Last week I headed west from the West End to deepest Somerset, courtesy of Yeo Valley who bribed me with lots of lovely yoghurt. Must confess I didn't know that much about Yeo Valley beforehand, other than really liking their creamy organic yoghurt (more lemon curd please - it's yummy!)
What I didn't realise is what a huge company they are, producing a whopping 6 to 7 million pots of yoghurt a week, yet still a relatively small player with around 5 per cent market share. Seems they produce the stuff for everyone (Waitrose, Budgens, Tesco, Sainsburys) from their ultra clean Somerset factory with about half of it going out under their own brand name (all organic).
We also toured around the company's various farms with down to earth boss Tim Mead, and checked out a carbon neutral eco barn which is powered with Miscanthus bio-fuel (Elephant grass) grown on their own farms. See image gallery below.

Yeo valley large yoghurt pots? how and what do you eat yours with? is it ok to eat the whole pot?
Yeo Vallet is the more popular of the two and I think it tastes creamier. Both good though.
I am looking for it for my husband. He gave his album to Molly from London in 1976 when staying at Cernabus Nursing Home, the Avenue, Canford Cliffs, Bournmouth, he was a releif Porter from the Bristol B.R.I.

Somerset dairy farming business Holt Farms Ltd has invested heavily in improving its environmental credentials over the last few years. It has rebuilt several kilometres of traditional dry stone walls, planted thousands of broadleaf native trees and converted the entire 1200 acre farm to organic.
Once time I go to there than I fell so better to other place so I like very much.....
