REVIEW: Madara Moon Flower tinted fluid

madara_tinted_moisturiser.jpgWinter has not been kind to my skin. It's pale and sensitive at the best of times but after four months of constant battering from wind, rain and lack of sunlight, it's far from looking its best right now, so this is an ideal time to crack out the tinted moisturiser.

Many people are a bit wary of anything with the word 'tinted' in the title, as it can conjure up images of orange, blotchy skin. But a decent one won't do that, and I'm happy to say that Madara's Moon Flower qualifies as decent in my book! What it does do is gently tints and illuminates the skin with a very balanced and subtle result. I found I didn't even need to spend time rubbing it in, as a quick smoothing over got the desired result.

Madara's Moon Flower is made from a blend of organic jojoba oil with extracts of good stuff like St. John's wort, camomile, calendula, plantain and algae, all harvested in the Baltic region. It's free from harmful chemicals and parabens, not tested on animals and certified by ECOCERT, making it a definite greener choice if you're wanting to get your skin glowing without having to jet off to sunnier climes. And if you like it so much you're still wearing it well into the summer, you'll also benefit from its UVA and UVB filters.
