It's been a while since a new ethical fashion collection crept under my radar, so I'm glad to see that the market is still thriving even in the current tight-arsed finanancial climate, and exciting new designer lines are still emerging. Between now and London Fashion Week I'll be keeping an eye on what's new in the eco-chic catwalk world, and the first collection to catch my eye is the Spring/Summer range from Kiilerich.

Kiilerich has split its collection into a spring and a summer line, with some subtle differences between the two: the spring range is characterised by cool and crisp colours - mint and rich apple green, ice grey, taupe and lemon; with lots of floaty chiffon set off by smart black and white with a smattering of geometric op-art style prints.
The summer range is a warm-toned collection of prom dresses, maxi dresses and those wonderful extra long skirts that double up as dresses for easy day-to-night summer dressing. I'm happy to see that dip-dye seems to be a big trend once again this summer; a style that really speaks to my hippy roots!
An ethical label since its launch in 2003, Kiilerich focuses on environmentally friendly production and good working conditions for its workers. It is also a supporter of the Women and Children in India charity, which supports single parent families in India and strives to improve their quality of life.
