Among established favourites like Izzy Lane, Beyond Skin and Ciel, the first label to catch my eye was Article 23 (pictured), which despite originating in France, takes its inspiration from the very British institution of Sherlock Holmes. Think sensible, monochrome with a playful dandyish twist. The label's ethics are rooted in a commitment to good working conditions; its name a reference to Article 23 of the Declaration of Human Rights.
