More fantastic eco-friendly offers not to be missed

dove_web_medium.gifI really am amazed and delighted at the endless stream of tip-offs I've had this week for discounts and offers on eco products - you'd think we were going through a credit crunch or something.

But being an ethical soul, I have no intention of keeping this information to myself, and am going to keep you posted on where to go for the best deals. My favourite deal this week has got to be Love Eco's £5 off anything offer, which will be a godsend for my Christmas shopping (details after the jump).

But there are plenty of other offers lurking out there, some of which might slash the cost of the very thing you were looking for. So read on to find out what's landed on my desk this week.

Loving that discount...

To take advantage of Love Eco's £5 off deal, you'll have to be a member of Facebook. So if you're one of those social networking haterz, I'm afraid you might just have to crawl back into your cave and rub some sticks together instead. Go here to find out the code, then head over to Love Eco to bag yourself some great bargains, like Pants to Poverty Pants for a fiver or the Energenie Standby Stopper for an astonishing £9.99 - and it'll help with your electricity bills, too.

VAT sounds good

Ethical Superstore has decided it can't wait until the 1st December for the new lower VAT rate to come into effect, and is offering the lower cost as of now. They're also offering £10 gift vouchers for every £75 you spend, and are selling off their Divine chocolate advent calendars half price. Get in!

Handy hints from Etsy

If you're going super-green and buying handmade products this year, Etsy have a great offer this weekend only. Between what our American friends know as Black Friday and Cyber Monday, Etsy will be featuring all of the best deals from all over the site in its Etsy Finds section. This will be a great place to hang out online during the official start of Christmas shopping madness.

Fragrant offer

Soaps are always a great present for Aunties, Mothers-in-Law and friends with a hygiene problem, so why not buy them something that will help lower their chemical splash as well as their own 'aroma'? Simply Soaps is offering 20% off its Hedgerow Herbals range and despite the name, the store sells some lovely candles and bath products, too. The scented mood candles, now at just £133, are particularly interesting!

Yeah, baby!

If you've got kids to buy for, then Ethical Babe have a £5 voucher to give away every time you spend £30 or more. If you've not visited this site before, expect lots of kid-friendly stuff from organic and fairtrade babygros to toys, cots and beds and pampering treats for Mum.
