LONDON FASHION WEEK: Tablecloth chic by Minna
London Fashion Week is now in full swing, and once again, Estethica is here to bring us a taste of what's new in top-end ethical fashion. There are plenty of big names we all know and love, including People Tree. Fifi Bijoux and Ciel. But one of the most interesting newcomers I've seen is Minna, which makes gorgeous pieces out of vintage table cloths, curtains and pillow cases...

New designer Minna Hepburn makes her shift dresses, tops and smocks out of vintage Scottish lace, which is usually used for curtains or tablecloths - and organic Fairtrade cotton. It's all made in the UK and the remnants are used too, in decorations. There's also a capsule collection of coats and dresses for little girls called Kristiina, featuring really quite adorable floral print dresses. How cool to see so many interesting fabrics being used to make clothes, and the results of this experimentation are always interesting to see...
