Friendly: Fab new eco sportswear range from Fenchurch

fenchurch_friendly_tees.jpg

Skate and music inspired street wear label Fenchurch aren't merely following fashion with their organic and fair trade range Friendly. Nope - this isn't some last minute nod to the greener consumer; Fenchurch Friendly has been in the planning stages for more than two years.

Follow the jump to find out what they've been up to...

Their mission statement is to offer 'a fresh Fenchurch collection with original graphics and no compromise on style while resting assured that no harmful chemicals were used and everyone involed in making your garment earned a fair wage' in fair trade certified factories.

From long conversations with brand ambassadors Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly, Fink and Ben Westbeech, none of these artists weren't paid to be part of the campaign - to show their commitment to Fenchurch's cause. Although they fail to state where their cotton was grown, and exactly who makes the range, (which does raise questions) it's all a high profile step in the right direction.

1 Aymara fitted organic tee in Grey Marl, £28
2 Patawa organic tee, £28
3 Harsant hoody with keyhole, £50
4 Guarani zip up sweat, £60
