Win a bokashi bin with My Zero Waste

bokashi-300x300.jpgThe green blog-o-sphere seems to have gone competition crazy this week, and it's been a pleasure bringing so many fantastic prizes to your attention.

I've no intention of stopping just yet though, and the latest that's entered my radar is a small but perfectly-formed bokashi bin up for grabs at My Zero Waste; a blog charting the progress of one family's quest to reach the challenging goal of generating zero waste. They run a competition every month, in fact, so it's well worth checking in for eco-friendly freebies.

All my lamps have low energy light bulbs. Recyclying all my plastic bottles, newspapper & cans. Not leaving my tv etc on standby. Only doing a washing in my machine when i have a full load. Not forgetting to turn off lights when not in a room

I recycle all my tins, plastic bottles, cardboard and paper as well as garden waste. My normal wheelie bin now had a fraction of waste in it that it did a couple of years ago. I love recycling and doing my bit for the environment and by teaching my children the same will go a long way to changing their habits in the future
