Urban Decay get greener with new eco packaging

urban decay.jpgUrban Decay totally rock. Not only do they make some of the coolest, most striking beauty products on the planet; they are also a deeply ethical company who never go on about it! So I am going to hammer the point home here. Urban Decay have been completely cruelty-free since forever, and do a good line in vegan products, too.

And now, they're getting into sustainability in a big way, with some really inventive new packaging made from materials like bamboo, recycled cardboard and recycled art paper. The new boxes have a '70s hippy feel about them and are very pretty. Kiss and Makeup got their hands on some early samples...read on after the jump for some shots!

I love companies like that. :) Now if only a few modelling agencies would take on bigger girls without making a big fuss about it then maybe eventually we'd think that was NORMAL... The media crush every time a slightly larger girl tries to model just highlights how weird it is, no matter how many congratulatory posts are written! Off soapbox: go Urban Decay.
