New natural baby food flavours from Plum
The more variety you expose your baby to early on, the more willing they'll be to try more sophisticated, healthier food options when they get older. So how can you ensure you baby's tastebuds are fully tempted without too much slaving over the stove?
Hippyshopper Mums have long been fans of Plum; the 'organic superfood' for babies, so I was pleased to hear that four new varieties have been launched this summer. Follow the jump for details on the new products, all of which contain all natural ingredients with no GM, salt, sugar, meat, egg or dairy.
There are two tasty recipes for babies of four months upwards: Carrot, apricot and fennel and Pumpkin, carrot & mango - both smooth blends of the vegetables with quinoa and absolutely nothing else added (except water!)
For seven months and upwards, it's dessert time, with a delicious baby-friendly summer pudding that's REALLY tasty (I've tried it!) but contains no added sugar. What it does have is loads of blackcurrants, strawberries, pears and raspberries and banana, all bursting with vitamin C.
For those who've passed their first birthday, the four grain Muesli with apricot & banana is a nutritious treat for any time of day.
You'll find all these products in Tesco and Boots within a week, soon moving into other supermarkets.
