Moa: The Green balm. What is it?

moa_the_green_balm.jpgI'm always a bit suspicious about products that call themselves 'all purpose', so I raised an eyebrow when I was handed a leaflet about Moa the Green Balm, a 'miracle' potion from Iceland that claims all kinds of amazing skin benefits.

Moa is essentially an organic, herbal balm that is aimed particularly at those with dry skin, but its uses are listed as relieving everything from minor burns to frostbite, which is pretty unusual for something you'd find in the beauty counter.

In Moa's favour, it does have an impressive array of natural and eco-friendly ingredients: it's organic, contains no lanolin, parabens or perfume, and is full of herbs only found in Iceland's unique climte.

Over the next few days, I'll be testing Moa along with the girls from Kiss and Makeup, so you'll soon get to find out how well the claims stand up. But I'm not inflicting frostbite on myself in the name of research!

Hey Abi!
I've been using this for years now and i LOVE it!! it's the most versatile product I've ever tried, I clean my face with it as well.. But same here-haven't tried it on frostbite, luckily :)

well, my uncle tried it for frostbite - so you don't have to! he works in Sibiria, and seems to think there's no better solution for it. i gave him a pot after buying it but wasn't too keen on the smell - i knew he wouldn't mind it. since then, i've been reading more about it, and was recently 'forced' to buy myself another pot...i now use it as a make up remover...it's fab!

Hi Christina. Wow, well if that is the case then this must be some genuinely powerful stuff! Any idea what else it might be good for? I've got a few instect bits I could try it on, though nothing as dramatic as frostbite, thankfully! And I'll give it a try as makeup remover...

I have recently tried Moa, my mum bought it to use on her dry skin and she suggested I use it on my face as I have recently got spots (VERY UNUSUAL for me I havent had spots for years) they were really painfull and left scarring. So just as I was giving up in my fight against the spots I tried Moa as a last resort before going to the doctors, and it has REALLY worked its got rid of the scarring and my spots are quickly disappearing!!! YAY!!!!!! I would highly recommend Moa to ANYONE who has spots that they cant budge this stuff is amazing. :D
