BBC Thread: are you a stylish, ethical dresser?

BBC_Thread_recycle_101 (2).jpgThe BBC's Thread campaign is doing some great work to change fashion from the inside, harnessing the best in design talent to promote sustainable practices. And to further that cause, they've now launched StyleSearch, a competition to find the UK's most stylish and ethical dressers.

If you've used ethical and eco-friendly methods to create a really funky, original look for yourself (or a friend) and consider yourself skilled in the ways of eco-styling, entering the competition is as easy as posting a pic on Facebook! The winner will get to spend a day with a top stylist at London Fashion Week in September, assisting with the styling of the Thread fashion show.

Follow the jump for instructions on how to enter

Simply submit one photograph of yourself or your 'model', that you have styled, together with a short statement explaining why the outfit is ethical. It could be organic, fair trade, vintage, recycled or customised clothes, styling with eco-friendly make-up or a mixture of all of the above.

Konnie Huq, BBC Thread reporter and ethical fashion fan said: "Style Search is for everyone, no matter what their style or budget. It is all about being creative, eco-glamorous and expressing yourself through ethical fashion."

"We're a fashion conscious lot here in the UK, with a huge variety of tastes and styles. I'm really looking forward to seeing what the nation comes up with - putting together an eco-fabulous outfit requires that little bit of extra creative flair and imagination. We're hoping for a huge range of entries, from fashion students to people who just love clothes and looking great, to show that ethical fashion is stylish, fun and for everyone."

My son knew he needed to stop smoking. He'd just seen his father die at 38 from lung cancer. That was the spark that made him realize that smoking could literally kill him. Unfortunately, every time he tried to stop, he would yield to temptation within a few days. I looked at using a nicotine patch and nicotine gum, but didn't want him to use either. For me, it seemed silly to take the same substance that causes the addiction - nicotine.
I searched for a natural and safe method to quit smoking: http://freshnewsday.com/stop-smoking.html
How it works?

I searched for a ordinary and okay method to abandon smoking.
I start it with LiveFree. Using your upshot, my son has been masterly to successfully station smoking.
