Pick of the best ethical summer sale fashion finds

natural collection sale.jpgThe sales are now in full swing, and I've never seen so much ethical fashion going cheap (not a contradiction in terms, I promise). Now is your chance to snap up all those feel-good items that were just outside your budget, and stock up on sexy, eco chic items while the sun's still hot. My personal fave has to be this 'sunshine dress' at Natural Collection, third time winner of the Observer Ethical Awards; reduced from £67.50 to £29.95. Wow!

Follow the jump for our pick of the eco-friendly sales, as well as some top bargains to be had...

People Tree sale Bandeau TopPeople Tree bandeau top at Ethical Superstore

Get summer's essential fashion item in 100% fairly-traded, soft organic cotton. Ethical Superstore has People Tree's funky and versatile bandeau tops in bluestone or lemon zest, reduced to £11.99.

Natural Collection don't have a huge amount of items on sale at the moment, but I found this beautiful, crisp white pleat dress lurking at the bottom of the website's bargain bin. With pleated front panels, a blouse collar and vintage shell buttons, the shirt dress is made from 100% Organic Cotton. It's from the store's higher-end range, and is now £40 reduced from £65

A howies' item on sale is also a rare find (the things last forever!), and I'm rather fond of these summery, stripy 'swizzle' skirts, which have been reduced to £40 from £60. The skirts are made from floaty, organic cotton for maximum comfort in the heat and are also available in pink. Just looking at this one makes me think of deck chairs and ice cream!

Your blog proves that fashion can be ethical - and what a great message to mainstream shoppers.

I'm going to do my best to have ethical fashion featured on our blog - hats off ;)
