In this week's installment of eco-friendly summer dresses, it's all about bold, funky prints. Quite a lot of the season's looks are brightly coloured and a bit retro, and here are three of my favourites that have gone in for that loud summer vibe. From left to right:

I don't recall there ever being a summer when gingham wasn't in, and 2008 is no exception. Made from handwoven cotton, the Jessica dress is certified fairtrade and has super-cute coconut shell buttons down the front. £32 from People Tree
