Bora Aksu designs collection for People Tree
Turkish designer Bora Aksu is to add a touch of restrained class to this season's People Tree collection, with an exclusive range to be launched in time for World Fairtrade Day on 10th May.
To be sold solely on ASOS, Aksu's new range will complement the pinoeering fairtrade label's existing summer collection with three stylish hand-made 'batwing' dresses, all made using natural materials and dyes including cori and hortoki, both of which are taken from sustainable tree seeds. Once again, People Tree are ahead of the game showing how fashion made using sustainable materials and under the fairest conditions can be at the cutting edge of style. But if you like the sound the range you'll need to act quickly: the dresses will be very limited edition (65, 50 and 27 pieces respectively).
