Vollmond: beer by the light of the moon
Vollmond must be the first beer I've encountered that's not only made from entirely organic ingredients, but is biodynamic too. That latter detail makes it especially cool in my book, because that means it's only brewed during a full moon. Hooooow-wuuuuull!
Its hippy-points are clearly off the scale, but Swiss-produced Vollmond also tastes scrumptious and unusually refreshing, partly because it's brewed at an altitude of 5250 feet, which incidentally means no fungicides are needed to grow it (the pests and bugs simply die of oxygen starvation at that height).
