Bourgeois Boheme brings fashion with compassion to London

If you're a fan of chic and stylish ethical footwear (and accessories), time was you'd have to get it on the internet *gasp*. But now, more specialist shops are opening up selling beautiful, affordable and totally ethical gear you can try before you buy.

The latest to make the step into bricks and mortar is Borgeouis Boheme, which is to open London's first vegan footwear and accessories shop next month. The store, in Richmond, will open on 17th May, and owner Alicia Lai hopes that it will help to reduce the number of returns her company receives due to 'shoe fitting issues'.

Visitors to the store will be able to buy Bourgeois-Boheme's exclusive labelled styles as well as ethically sourced products from other companies; not only footwear, but also bags, wallets and belts for women and men, and cosmetics.

Alicia says, "Our shop is an extension within our office premises, it's a humble start but it's a first step towards our greater dream of having lush and exclusive Bourgeois Boheme boutiques in the world's fashion capitals"
