Solar / electric lawnmower - idle gardening the earth-friendly way
I'm afraid to say that I've never mowed a lawn; however, I'd like to keep it that way, so perhaps I should invest in Husqvarna's autonomous lawn mower, which will pilot its way around any lawn without too much input from you.
Even better, it'll trim the grass short enough that no bagging is necessary, and it will produce fractional emissions thanks to a hybrid solar / electric engine. It'll pootle back to its charging base for 40 minutes when it's done, which is also roughly what you'll get in power for each charge. You can even programme it to work at certain times of the day or week! Okay, it's £2000, but what price complete freedom from the more boring garden tasks?
