Women's 'satire' shoe from Simple Eco Sneaks
![]()
I adore the sustainable sneaker range from Simple Shoes, and seeing that part of the range has now come to the UK put a real spring in my step.
The 'satire' shoe, pictured above, has washed leather and organic cotton canvas uppers, organic cotton linings, PET laces, a recycled car-tyre outer sole and 100% post consumer paper pulp foot forms. In fact, the bottom of these shoes used to be tires that rolled around on an axle that was connected to a car, so you can zoom around to your heart's content knowing they're as green as trainers can be. Available in two colours (black or dark earth). £60 at Simple Shoes

I have the men's version (Sno Tire) and they are one of the most comfy pairs I've ever had.
