The Register to host online Green Computing debate

green_computing.jpgGot something to say about how the computer industry is (or isn't) greening up its act, or just interested in hearing it from the mouths of industry experts? The Register is holding an online debate on green computing on Wednesday 27th Feb.

The discussion will see a meeting of minds both techy and hippy, those who want to do all they can to make computing as eco-friendly an experience as possible and most probably those who hope that the greening of their industry will turn out to be a passing fad. All will be allowed to say their piece before you get the chance to pit your wits against the speakers.

The Register editor Ashlee Vance assures us he will be keeping thre whole affair strictly 'fluff free'. The online event lasts four hours but much like a normal conference, you don't have to be there for all of it - it's broken up into chunks at fixed times so you can drop into whichever sessions are most interesting.
