If you want glossy, colourful nails without the toxic fumes, Suncoat is a name to watch.
The range of water-based nail polishes do not contain various nasty chemicals found in most brands, some of which I haven't even heard of: they are acetates, formaldehyde, toluene or phthalates. The colours are all produced using natural ingredients and mineral pigments, and there's a good range of shades to choose from, including Desert Sunset, Cinnamon, 'Iridescent' Purple Haze, 'Gloss' Crystal Clear Top Coat.
