New Vivienne Westwood collection highlights earth's plight in Paris

Trust Vivienne Westwood to venture outside the box for her latest collection, currently on show at Paris Fashion Week. While she used the London catwalk as a vehicle for protesting about justice and civil rights, in Paris it's all about ecological issues.
Entitled 'Chaos Point', her collection featured insects and plants diligently painted by 7-year-old primary schoolchildren. Her statement about global warming and material excess seem addressed through an abundance of fabric, tucked and draped over brightly face-painted models. [Via Catwalk Queen]
