London Fashion Week: PETA vs Burberry

burberry-peta79736494.jpg

What with all those 'chav' connotations and now some surprise 'free publicity' courtesy of PETA, I'm sometimes surprised that fashion house Burberry manage to keep it together...

As Burberry launched it’s Vanity Fair Exhibition in London earlier this week (Lily Allen and Emma Watson were in attendance), PETA ensured the label got the reception it deserves, protesting against the use of farmed fur outside the Burberry store on New Bond street. Dressed in (fake, we assume!) furs, at least 15 protesters were dressed up as cave men and women and brandishing signs tell Burberry to get out of the stone age. [Via Catwalk Queen]
