Jason Donovan to play Lock Out night for Anti-Slavery at Jongleurs, Camden
If you thought slavery was a thing of the past, you're sadly mistaken; even today, millions of men, women and children around the world are forced to work through the threat or use of violence, they are bought and sold like objects, work for long hours often for little or no pay and are at the mercy of their employers.
To draw attention to their plight, Anti-Slavery, a charity dedicated to eradicating slavery worldwide, is putting on an event at comedy venue Jongleurs in Camden on the 11th March. The lineup for this 'lock out' night is about the most varied I've ever seen, with appearences from Jason Donovan, the Congo Faith Healers and singer-songwriter Sam Heard.
