Eco-fabulous recycled linens by Cakehouse
These lovely, soft, double-layer cloth napkins are made by a small hand-made label called Cakehouse. They are refashioned from secondhand pillowcases and hand-printed with water-based inks.
The cat design pictured is just one of many cool, contemporary designs in the range, which also includes coasters embroidered with a fox design and llama napkins for a surreal twist. Every item in this collection is unique, because of the range of materials recycled to make them. As the maker clearly states on her shop site: “I am a woman, not a womachine!”
