Corgi release the H2Go: the greener alternative to remote control toys

corgi%20remote%20control%20car.jpg

Remote control toys won't go out of fashion as long as we have the grown-up toys to make tiny. But inevitably, they aren't that eco friendly as the faster models work on gasoline, which causes environmental damage. Well, hopefully the next gen of remote control toys will be greener as Corgi in conjunction with Horizon Fuel Cell Technologies have created a toy that works with renewable clean energy. The H2Go is also a dream to look at, which most 'eco' products aren't mixing designer aerodynamic styling with a on board hydrogen fuel cell to power it all. The cars body is even made with wheat, and the the whole package is fully recyclable. [Via Shiny Shiny]

All you need to do to keep this baby powered is to add tap water to the refueling system, and you control it by the solar-powered remote control. So what do you get for your money? Well, a full kit comprises of a refueling station, a solar panel, a hydrogen-powered RC car and a remote control. I don't have any info yet on how fast this car will go, or how long before it needs refuelling, but we'll be getting it in to view shortly so watch this space.

Imagine full size cars working on this technology.. we're one step nearer to a greener world!

£129.99 for the full set from Corgi International
