Recycle for funky original bag ideas
When kids get too big for their clothes, you can either throw them out, pass them on to a sibling or other child, or do something really creative with them. And that's the ethos behind Girly Girl Bags, a great find which I stumbled across on Etsy.
The 'felted hearts' bag (pictured) is from an old sweater, while this really cute 'sunrise' embroidered purse is made from a reconstructed pair of jeans. There are also some pretty funky keychain bracelets made from belts. Being recycled, each piece is a one-off, and the maker takes custom orders.
