Post-Christmas stress? Pamper yourself with some goodies from Lush

If Christmas has left you feeling more fraught than festive, I've got a few suggestions for how you can spend that tenner your nan slipped you. I'm a selfless kinda girl... so I've been putting myself through the genuinely hideous ordeal of trying out some of Lush's latest goodies for you. I hope you appreciate it.
First up was the You've Been Mangoed bath melt. This had a really nice, invigorating smell - citrusy, sharp, almost like citronella, with a fainter Mango scent underneath it. For my evening bath, I gave the Pop in the Bath Bubble Bar a go. Top marks for aesthetic appeal go to this beautiful little flower-shaped sparkly thing - problem was, it took me a good ten minutes of holding it above the bath before I could bring myself to crumble it in! It smelt a bit like a comforting combination of dried flowers and sherbet (happy childhood memories usually go well with a relaxing bath!).
Moving on to the body butters... My favourite was definitely the exfoliating Aqua Mirablis butter. The gorgeous wheaty, yeasty smell meant it was like being inside a big freshly baked loaf of bread - bliss. The moisturising King of Skin body butter smelt like a winning combination of hot bananas and chocolate, and made my skin so soft it felt like it was melting.
Finally, soaps. The Figs and Leaves soap had a spicy smell, and was warm and comforting. The Sea Vegetable soap won the prize for aesthetics, being a gorgeous lurid turquoise color. Its soft, cinnamon smell was good too. My favourite of the soaps I tried out, however, was definitely the Bohemian Lemon soap. With a killer smell to almost knock you out, this even managed to make me feel something approaching alive at 7am on a Monday morning (no easy task, I can assure you).
Happy bathing! :)
