Shoes always prove a sore point with the more ethically minded, especially if there are bunions involved: leather is the norm, and leather means death. And it's amazing how many vegetarians out there are happy to wear leather clothes, I suppose, simply because it's so hard to find alternatives. Bourgeois Boheme, however, do some great lines in fake leather footwear. Their shoes are PeTA and Vegan friendly, and these male beauties even do a good job at looking like crocodile skin.
Handcrafted in Portugal, and embossed with the terrifically pompous 'Footwear for the Ethically Conscious' on their soles (just so you can let everyone know where you stand as you rest your feet in the office), these shoes cost £95 and will make you look dead snappy no matter where you are.
