Be a happy hippy with a recycled cashmere 'peace' scarf

peacescarf.jpgCashmere is all the rage at the moment, but with the very real animal welfare issues ssociated with the modern day production of cheap cashmere, you might well worry about the origin of your scarf.

Recycled cashmere is a whole different kettle of fish. This gorgeous dove detail scarf is from old, pre-loved cashmere sweaters that are past their best but still make fabulous accessories when sewn together. It's made by eco designer Deborah Lindquist and is available at Greenloop for $150. If you like this, take some time to browse the rest of the site for some really fresh and funky eco clothing and accessories.
