'Innocent' is not a word normally associated with Russel Brand, but the tight-trousered TV sensation has redeemed himself by designing his own 'do' to appear on bottles of Innocent smoothies between now and Christmas, alongside all the other designs submitted for this years Big Knit.
The charity project, organised each year by Innocent is now in its final stages, and over 400,000 mini hats have been sent in by enthusiastic knitters. Innocent say the hats are already starting to appear in branches of Sainsbury's, so please keep us posted on any particularly creative designs that catch your eye. I'm quite keen on this bunny hat myself!
Other celeb-designed hats will be appearing on the shelves, including hats by Fearne Cotton, Joanna Lumley and even Jeremy from Arcade Fire. We understand Russell did not participate in any knitting himself, though. Shame.
On a bottle? I'd prefer to see him in a bottle. And stored away in the darkness in a big, big cupboard. Now that would be a charitable act, Russell. Please go bottle yourself.
