Here's one Ferrari that won't pollute! It may not have quite the same effect on members of the opposite sex either, but hey, at least you won't attract as many gold-diggers...
The zero-carbon-emission, testa rossa red limited edition Segway shares all the planet-friendly virtues with its predecessor, so if you're lucky enough to live somewhere where it's legal to ride one, you can move effortlessly indoors or out, and nobody will be able to miss you as you blaze by.

Green? I don't think so! It may not produce any emissions etc but what about the manufacturing processes involved in bringing this product to market and the transportation costs of distributing them?
I appreciate that other manufacturers who produce other forms of transport that pollute our planet also contribute to environmental pollution too but I don't think that the ends (the scooter) justify the means, especially when we already have one of the greenest methods of transport known to the human race already - ourselves.
It might be viewed as a 'green' method of transport but the reality of the Segway scooter, and I know this from personal experience as I recall the advertising and marketing at the time they came out, is that it is nothing more than a 'cool' gadget for people (it was heavily promoted as such at the time, not as a green form of transport, which is something that their marketing team cooked up to take advantage of the current climate of environmental awareness).
