Greenpeace activists picket Kleenex 'let it all out' campaign

kleercut.jpgKleenex's latest TV campaign, featuring unsuspecting members of the public being urged to 'let it all out' on a mobile sofa, has been met with a fair bit of criticism since hitting screens in the UK. Until now, this was mainly restricted to viewers not wanting to watch grown men and women crying like babies during the ad break, but Greenpeace protesters in the States have gone a step further...

Greenpeace has found that Kimberly-Clark, owner of Kleenex, is driving the destruction of the ancient Boreal Forest, the largest tract of ancient forest left in North America and an important habitat for bears, cubs, and other wildlife. This is a direct result of the company's refusal to used recycled material, as Kleenex is made from “100% virgin fibre". Watch the video below to see how Greenpeace managed to infiltrate filming of the commercials (in some cases, dressed as bears) with some very amusing consequences. The full story is at kleercut.net.
