The future of the loo
This could be the future of the WC. The innovative eco design won the RSA student design award, with student designer Ines Sanchez Calatrava from Ravensbourne College of Design and Communication picking up this year’s prize of £3000. Ideal Standard, Europes leading bathroom brand has supported the award in recent years. This back to back toilet and basin is a recycling dream - it uses water from the wash basin to directly flush the toilet.

Not to be a killjoy, but I believe such systems of recycling are already widely used in Japan...
