Shimmer Squares from The Body Shop sell out

Shimmer Squares from The Body Shop’s Autumn Trend collection are flying off the shelves. Apparently, they sold out in the London Oxford Street stores just four days after the launch. The shimmer palettes are powder for the eyes, cheeks and face inspired by the bold blocks of colour used in Mark Rothko paintings. Believe it or not, they actually do resemble something of the artist’s work. I’ve just read a bit of history on Rothko on Wiki, and it’s worth a read – but all of this is surprisingly cultural for The Body Shop. RRP £14.50, but avoid the rush by shopping online.

Dammit! This always happens with body shop stuff - just like it did with the summer blushers!

So you attack Clearasil for having harmful ingredients in its products, then promote the Body Shop product in the next entry? Are you aware that the Shimmer Squares contain propylparaben?

Alana> Yes, I am aware of that. sodium methylparaben is banned in europe, however, the chemical used in this product you mention is not.
My opinion is that the jury is out on propylparaben. I haven't seen any evidence that convinces me it's harmful. The type of paraben used in Clearasil is a different ingredient, and the campaign to remove it from these products is not the same as the objections to parabens in other cosmetics.
