spicychoc%20bars.jpg
Avoid the winter blues and keep warm at the same time by eating Montezuma spicy chocolate bars. They even do a chilli one. According to the UK Department of Health, the coming of winter makes one in fifty of us suffer from Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD). Apparently, it affects more women than men, so now women have scientific proof that they have to eat more chocolate than men since sugary foods can alleviate SAD’s symptoms. Bars are priced at £1.99 for 100g.

Montezuma!? Wow! Have you ever heard the expression "Montezuma's vengeance"? That's what we normally call -- diarrhoea! I won't buy any of that chocolate!

Actually the term is Montezuma's Revenge and we make a great truffle with the very same name with tequila, chilli and lime - it's one of our best sellers! And the term comes from the Aztec Emperor Montezuma who used to consume so much chocolate in its raw form that he suffered from the laxative effects. He was also the reason we now have chocolate in this country since he greeted the Spanish Conquistadors with goblets of chocolate when they invaded in the 1500's, believing that they were gods. Unfortunately they turned out to be there to ravage their land and people and Montezuma was stoned to death. We thought it was a great tribute to him to name our business after him and luckily we have millions of customers who are adventurous enough to give it a go!
