Bin Laden explodes on the green bandwagon

The world’s most infamous terrorist, Osama Bin Laden, has surprisingly voiced concern over global warming. In his latest video speech, which marks the 6th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, Bin Laden blamed western corporations for climate change and the White House for not signing the Kyoto agreement.
Clearly, international environmental agreements are the first rules the terrorist organisation should be abiding by, coming before the human rights act, of course. Even if Al-Qaeda were to prove that they went carbon neutral, I would not be convinced since, for one, lethal bombs do create an awful lot of pollution, especially in built-up areas, and secondly, because they would have to improve their human rights rating to a little higher than mass-murderers before they get my green vote. Analysts believe that Bin Laden is attempting to win support in the West by jumping on the bandwagon of a number of Western conerns.

“The life of all of mankind is in danger because of the global warming resulting to a large degree from the emissions of the factories of the major corporations. Yet, despite that, the representatives of these corporations in the White House insists on not observing the Kyoto accord,” said Al-Qaeda’s leader.
