Men's and unisex alpaca accessories from Traidcraft

It's a solid fashionable range of scarves from Traidcraft this coming autumn. The company, which is well-known among ethical shoppers, is the UK's leading fairtrade organisation, and stocks a wide selection of products on its online shop. This men’s hand-knitted set made of an alpaca mix is produced by Peruvian craftspeople. It's good quality, smart and makes my first choice for autumn/winter accessories at £35. Other scarves include a more unisex alpaca tubular scarf that has no ends, so it can’t fall off and is really soft to wear. It’s excellent value at only £16.

Traidcraft sent me a decent amount of samples, so I can vouch first-hand that their products are excellent quality and look as good in real life as they do on the website. The company have set themselves an ambitious challenge to treble the value of purchases from fairtrade suppliers in the developing world by 2011. With an annual turnover of £20m, we are sure to hear much more from them in the future.
