Those clever people at G-TECH have come up with a rechargeable lawnmower to help reduce our impact on the environment and reduce our carbon footprint. I do not like gardening, so my way of reducing my carbon emissions from cutting the grass is to simply not cut it! While this works for me, my neighbours are none to happy, but I dutifully point out that my garden has become a natural environment for the local wildlife to enjoy. The jokes about tigers hiding in the grass are just not as funny anymore though.
With this nifty little lawnmower you can cut the grass as much as you want to and still be good to the planet. It weighs a mere 13kg and comes with a 20 litre collection thing at the back to keep the cuttings off your lawn. It is rechargeable so you don’t have worry about cables or petrol fumes and has a 30cm rotary blade that can cut grass between 15 and 47mm long. I was thinking of getting one, but my grass hasn’t been less than 47mm for many months now. You can buy on from the Guardian website for a mere £133.94 with an additional batter for £19.99.
