Stop Cats Killing Mice and Birds with CatBib

catbib2.jpg

Finally an answer to the eternal problem of cats killing. If your cat constantly brings you "gifts" of small animals and birds you might like to try the CatBib.

An independent University trial has shown that this lightweight bib cuts predation by 50%. The manufacturers claim that the CatBib: "gently interferes with your cat's hunting skills, without interfering with any other kitty activities."

Stopping cats from catching smaller animals is not just good for owners tired of dealing with the kills. Cats can pose a serious danger to local wildlife. The average British cat kills 40 small animals a year, with 9 million cats in Britain that's around 300 million cat caused deaths a year, inevitably some of these will be already threatened species.

So it might be worth considering limiting your cat's killer instinct. And anything that means no waking up to dead mice at the foot of the bed is a good thing in my book.
