My quest for fashionable ethical men’s clothes has taken me to Canada. Well, not actually taken me to Canada, rather my search has ended up at a Canadian website called Rawganique. It’s a wonderful site, and well worth exploring, and if you’re ever in Canada, pop into their store in downtown Denman Island. All of their products are sweatshop-free and made from sustainable sources, with many of the items organic. They also sell footwear, stuff for the home, food and drinks and other bits and pieces. I am at the moment on a hunt for a pair of decent ethical and preferably organic jeans that look like normal jeans. I think I have found just the pair for me.
They are organic cotton and they are made in Europe, so there is no sweatshop labour involved. The only problem I have is that they have to be transported from Europe to Canada before they can be transported from Canada to me in Europe. Perhaps I should buy the black hemp jeans, they look even better. So much choice…what is a man to do? I know, I’ll buy both!
