Boeing has unveied a new, fuel-efficient plane that it claims could be the answer to making air-travel greener.
The Boeing 787 Dreamliner is a lightweight commercial aircraft that produces 20% less C02 than most of its competitors and carries up to 250 passengers. It's the first all-new plane that Boeing has designed in 12 years, and is the result of six years' work on reducing the carbon emissions produced by air travel. Six hundred orders have already been put in for the plane, which will begin test flights in August or September.
