Black Eyed Peas star ditches Hummer
Earlier this year the Black Eyed Peas star, Will-i-am was inspired by Live Earth: "I'm getting ready to blow up my Hummer."
The intentions were good, but blowing up Hummers is not necessarily the eco-friendliest way to get rid of the gaz-guzzling behemoths. So, Will-i-am has had a rethink. He now intends to recycle his Hummer.
Don't worry though, Will-i-am is not going to be without wheels, he is said to be 59th in line for the Tesla Roadster

Hummers are spacious and weatherproof. When gas prices go up, people will be converting them to cozy little living pods! Take out the engine and the seats, put in a couple of mattresses, and you have a great camp-house for the kids or a guest cottage. And they're on wheels, which means they can be towed out of the way of rising ocean levels with a mule team!
