World's sexiest vegetarians revealed on GoVeg.com
"Why are so many in Hollywood shunning meat?" asks PETA's vegetarian website GoVeg. These stars' reasons for keeping animals off their plates, it claims are "as diverse and inspiring as their talents—from avoiding the inexcusable cruelty to animals in factory farms and slaughterhouses to improving their own health and helping the environment by not contributing to factory-farm pollution."
And to illustrate this point with some pretty faces, GoVeg has now announced the winners of their 'world's sexiest vegetarian celebrities' awards for 2007. The winners are American Idol's Carrie Underwood and The Tonight Show’s Kevin Eubanks. Not being American myself, I haven't heard of either of these people, but I'm sure they do a great job of furthering the cause! Perhaps more interesting is the long list they provide of vegetarian celebrities, some of which may come as a surprise.
