Aquarius Organics is a quirky little company with a lovely looking website selling a rather odd mixture of gardening aids, handmade cards and bodycare products. However, it’s the gardening stuff that’s quickly gaining them a reputation as a handy company to know, and where better to look than the garden when stuck for Father's Day ideas? (it's on 17th June, if you haven't already been reminded enough times!)
It’s long been known by expert gardeners that adding comfrey and other ingredients to water can make a surefire fertiliser, but Aquarius’ comfrey ‘T-Bags’ takes the guesswork out of the recipe and allows you to make your own instant organic fertiliser at home. There are also dried comfrey and hop pellets to use as soil improvers.
If you're looking for more of a girly treat, the body items are also certified organic and gorgeously packaged, ideal for luxury gifts. And to go with the gift, are the wonderful eco-friendly and handmade greetings cards, printed on fair-trade and recycled paper.
It’s an odd mix of products but it actually works very well with all items being high quality and reasonably priced. A must for gardeners who want to improve soil condition and then soak afterwards in an aromatherapy bath, while sending cards to friends!
