More pretty handbags for the girls, this time by American company Salvation Sacks. This bag is made from 1960s curtains, bits of leather furniture, antique brass studs and old leather belts. The company was created back in 2002 by a woman who realised she'd hoarded a huge collection of vintage items and clothing which she couldn't face throwing away, so she decided to make something beautiful and usable out of them...and so Salvation Bags was born. The bags are all made from recycled clothing, vintage textiles and jewellery, and are created in 'episodes' with about 100-150 bags in each, like works of art. Each one is unique so you have to grab them quick if you see one you like. This bag is from the 'Bowler' episode and costs US$145.
