Learn birdsong the fun way with this RSPB wall clock

R0200.jpgThere's nothing more infuriating to an amateur birdwatcher than hanging around a tree for ages trying to catch sight of a bird that's singing it's heart out, only to find it's just a sparrow or a chaffinch (no offence little guys - I love you too!). My point is, you really need to learn bird song to be a good twitcher, and a fun way to get started is one of these wall clocks by the RSPB.

Each hour you will be greeted with the delightful sounds of a different British bird, including a blue tit, tawny owl, robin, wren and blackbird. A light sensor ensures the clock does not sound if the room is dark, so you don't have to worry about being woken up by twittering birds in the middle of the night! The clock runs on 3 (preferably rechargeable) AAA batteries, which are not included. A great gift for any bird lover at only £19.95.
